OUR EVENTS
Lauburu Languages provides a range of enriching Spanish cultural experiences throughout the year, welcoming both the Otley community and visitors to enhance their Spanish skills at any level! You'll receive comprehensive support to confidently communicate in Spanish.
Join us and immerse yourself in the Spanish language and culture!
We collaborate with local businesses; for our Spanish games, we've chosen the spacious and relaxing Sancta Bookshop Cafe by the Otley Bus Station. Additionally, at least once a year, our students are invited to enjoy a delicious Spanish food and drink dinner accompanied by Spanish music at Tapas & Tunes in the center of Otley.
We also provide a Free Spanish taster session for Children for our two groups aged 4-6 and 7-11 in the center of Otley, allowing them to meet Isabel, and feel comfortable in the premises, around other children, and with the new Spanish language!

We are discovering the joy of playing a popular Spanish boardgame, LA OCA, in a conscious way, your life path. Questions in Spanish and English, sharing the answer reflecting on it, writing it down or just colouring an spiritual symbol of the sun. The conscious questions are based on the book "Trece Ocas" by Mercè Alegría.
Learn how to play LA OCA in Spanish and the meaning of its symbols whilst speaking in Spanish.

We are learning about the Pre-Colombian celebration of the Day of the Dead, "EL DIA DE LOS MUERTOS" in Mexico.
Learn vocabulary and the symbolism of this Mexican celebration by playing games and speaking in Spanish.
It's a happy celebration, so don´t be scared!
