Our school and programme

​Based in Otley, Leeds (West Yorkshire, UK), Lauburu Languages offers high-quality Spanish classes for both adults and children — available in person in Otley and online via Zoom.

​

The school is led by Isabel Ruiz, a native Spanish speaker from Bilbao in the Basque Country of Spain. Isabel holds a PGCE from the UK, an MA in Hispanic Studies, and a BA (Hons) in Business. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for teaching Spanish to learners of all ages.

We provide Spanish language classes at all levels, for individuals and groups — whether you're a beginner or looking to advance your fluency. Classes are available in person and online, tailored to both adults and children.

In addition to private classes, we also work with local primary and secondary schools, as well as community education programmes.

​

Our Adult courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), ensuring a structured and internationally recognised approach to language learning.

Children’s courses are aligned with the UK National Curriculum for Modern Foreign Languages, offering age-appropriate and engaging content for young learners.
